Description
PAC Rear Retention Cable for Select GM LAN Vehicles
Provides an audio/video signal output from the factory radio in select 2012-Up GM Vehicles to an aftermarket monitor.
Also for use with a radio replacement interface (i.e. RP5-GM32) to replace a factory radio and retain the overhead LCD monitor and IR system.
GMRVD2 APPLICATIONS:
Option A) Can be used with RP5-GM32 radio replacement interface to install an aftermarket radio and route the A/V signal to the OEM rear monitor.
The GMRVD2 can also pass A/V from the vehicle’s rear A/V input, into the new aftermarket radio. From there, the cable routes the signal to the OEM rear monitor, and IR transmitter in the OEM RSE.
Option B) Can be used to add aftermarket video screen(s) to the vehicle and route video from the OEM radio, or DVD player in center console to the new monitor(s).
