Description
D3D ABS Carbon Fiber – 1.75mm 1KG
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is the grandfather of home 3D printing filaments. For best results, ABS requires a heated bed and preferably an enclosed printing environment.
ABS has a higher resistance to heat and starts to soften at around 105º C. For this reason, 3D printed objects used in outdoor or higher heat applications tend to stand up better when printed from ABS Filament.
One of the downsides to printing with ABS is the strong smell while it prints. While it doesn’t bother most people, some people may have issues with printing with ABS in confined spaces. We recommend printing in a well ventilated room.
